A matching balm for the cream, but how does it compare to the other balms?
Despite their cost, I’ve been reasonably impressed with the T&H balms to date. So I was expecting this to fair well.
It’s a bit different to the others in that this is much more liquid, closer to a milk or a lotion than a balm. It pooled in the palm of my hand, rather than forming a pile.
The scent is identical to the cream, so detecting sandalwood proved a challenge, but it’s not unpleasant.
The others have all been absorbed quickly but this left a very greasy feeling on my skin for a long time afterward, you can see it as a sheen. Not ideal.
In terms of soothing, it certainly didn’t seem to help when I had irritation.
Previous samples of the T&H balms had performed well and provided a strong fragrance, my main complaint was price. This one was lacking in performance too, hence the rating drop. You’re possibly better off with another balm and the cologne if you like the scent.
